For all those girls out there who are always ready to hit the road, there is one common thing that always seems to be the issue – HAIR. No matter what you do, your hair is always either messing up your outfit by being out of shape, too frizzy or too untamed. While travelling, one seldom gets the time to shampoo or to make elaborate hairstyles that might sustain themselves for the whole day. We bring to you a list of easy-to-make hairstyles that make you look both cute and chic and you can forget about those rough, frizzy travel hair!

You might have had that experience of untying your bun after a long day and your scalp painfully feels like all the hair roots have been pulled in haphazard directions. That is what high ponytails and buns do to your hair. However, the bun just seems to fall if you don’t secure it tightly enough. Especially during travelling, when you seldom have the opportunity to open your hair and make it again and again, braid serve as a better option to help keep your hair in place while also being comfortable. Braids also take care of humid and frizzy hair so lock away your hair issues with stylish braids be it a beach or a museum!

Material to carry: elastic hair ties, a packet of bobby pins, hair scarves and decorative clips (optional)

1.Double French Braids:

Easy to make and fun to carry, double French braids are every girl’s friend as they are both sassy and comfortable. This look goes best with separated tops and bottoms, preferably jeans or trousers. You can also leave them overnight to find beautiful loose curls the next morning, all set to be flaunted.

2.Braided Crown:

The hairstyle that simply does look good no matter how you wear it, the braided crown goes well with all kinds of outfits, be it tunics or long skirts. It can be worn in a variety of ways, like the double braided crown or the style with half hair down. This style is super quick to make and looks quite cute. If you have bangs, all the better!

3.Double Dutch with an updo

It is just as easy to make as it looks adorable and classy. The hairstyle looks best on feminine clothing like maxi dresses, skirts and tunics. Though dutch braids might be a little tricky to beginners, once you master them, they can make hair of any length or colour look great. The hairstyle stays throughout the day and looks better as it gets messier. So don’t worry about those loose ends coming off and do just whatever you want to do on your vacation.

4.Side Fish-tail

The hairstyle that looks like a few people’s work but barely takes two minutes to make, the side fish-tail is effortless to create and goes well with almost anything! Leave your bangs open to give it a prettier look. Once you open the braid in the evening, it will give you thin wavy textured hair that could be worn lose for a dinner. Double benefits with this classy braid!
